Grinnell’s Beardtongue

Grinnell’s beardtongue along the Pacifc Crest Trail, near Mt. Burnham, in the San Gabriel Mountains. This bulbous Penstemon can accommodate large pollinators such as bumblebees and carpenter bees.

From a run in July 2010.
