Sunrise on the PCT near the beginning of the out and back run from Islip Saddle to Mt. Baden-Powell. Without any side-trips to other peaks, it's about 8 miles to Baden-Powell. The first 1.5 miles toward Little Jimmy Camp/Spring is through forest burned in the 2020 Bobcat Fire. August 18, 2024.
