Jeffrey pine on the Dollar Lake Trail that was struck by lightning, and then a few years later, burned in the Lake Fire. It looks like it will survive.

I suspect this stout limber pine near Dollar Lake Saddle is quite old -- perhaps 1000 years or more. Elevation about 9,930 ft.

The Tree -- I believe a lodgepole pine -- on the open slopes on the northwest side of Jepson Peak. Elevation about 10,640 ft.
