This is the fork off the PCT you don't want to miss. The right fork connects to the Rock Creek trail, which leads up Rock Creek basin to New Army Pass. According to my GPS it is about a mile past the Sequoia National Park Boundary and 8.6-8.7 miles into the clockwise loop over Cottonwood Pass from the overflow parking area at the New Army Pass trailhead.
