Yerba santa (Eriodictyon trichocalyx) at about 6480' on the Three Points - Mt. Waterman Trail. It is closely related to Poodle-dog bush (Eriodictyon parryi). July 14, 2018.
Poodle-dog bush (Eriodictyon parryi). There is still some Poodle-dog bush on or near the trail in a few places, but it is generally avoidable. It causes contact dermatitis in many people.
